My treasure is a photo of my dog, Harry. My grandfather took a picture of Harry and he gave it to me at that time.
Harry was killed in a traffic accident four years ago. He was the first dog that I ever had. I had wanted to have a dog since I was a little childe. When I was a junior high school student, I asked my mother if she would give me a dog if I was one of the top 10. And when I was second grader, I could come in 6th for a test. My parents were glad and they bought me a beagle to keep my promise. Harry was little big for a puppy which was sold at a shop because nobody had bought him. If we didn’t buy the puppy, it would be killed. My father used to tell Harry that he was a very lucky dog.
Harry was a very naughty dog. He frequently broke out from his house, and run without a leash in the rice field which was behind my house. Each time, we had to go to catch him. One day, Harry broke out from his cage. I looked for him, but he was not anywhere. Even at the night, he didn’t come home. And next day, we found that Harry was killed in traffic accident. I cried all night. Harry was a naughty dog, but he was the best dog for us. The body was cremated and buried at the cemetery for pet with his collar and favorite toys. His cage was taken away too. I was very sad that all the trace which showed that Harry was with us had been erased passed off. I regretted that I had not took pictures of Harry. When I was crying, my grandfather gave me a picture, with Harry in it picture. He took it while I was going to school before Harry was killed. Harry was playing with joy in the picture. Even today, the photo reminds me of the happy memory with Harry.
