Unit13 : Career/ Choice
Our group: Yuki, Yuho,Kotomi.
Yuki and Yuho talked about their goals and future.Yuki said that she wanted to become flight attendant.So, she studies English hard now. Also, she said that she wanted to get good husband and become a nice wife too.
I think Yuki should speak more loud.
Yuho said that she wanted to become a interpproter. She said it was difficult to get enought money after become a interpproter soon. So, she said she had to work various company and add to her experience. I think she should talk about interpproter's work more details.
Kotomi talked about her strenghs and weaknesses. She said her strenghts were positive and friendly. She always thinks good things, and talks with other new people. Those strengths are good for her dream, which become a teacher. Her weakness is lazy. She sometimes thinks she doesn't want to study. She studies with her friends and she can do her best.
And my idea:
The most important condition of job is good benefits. I want to continue my job id I get married and have childen. So, the company has a good child-care leave system is very important.

I learned about witch-hunt in the Middle Age at class. The contents were bloody and cruel. Teacher said that about 140,000 inocent people were killed. In other hand, this story is very fan and innocent. Witches appears in this book play tricks and trouble people. They steals milk from a farmer, changes a women into a horse. BR1-11 : Sleeping Beauty
"Only a kiss from your true love will break the sleep."(p24)
I had thought that this story was written by Brothers Grimm. The first time I knew this story is when I saw a movie produced by Dsney. There are three fairies in the film. After that, I read another book, and there were twelve good fairies and an evil fairy in the story.The King invited twelve fairies because there were twelve gold dishes. Also, the animal which told the queen that she was going to have a baby was a crayfish. I think differences like those are interesting.

BR1-10 : Snow White and the Seven Dwarf
"Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of us all?" (p.7)
I had seen "Snow White and the Seven Dwarf", a movie made by Disney many times when I was a child. The movie was one of the my favorite movies. But, I thought Snow White was fool because she was almost killed three times by her stepmother in parallel ways. She has just the devil's own luck. Also, I was very surprised when I read the original story written by brother of Grimm. The Queen who tried to kill Snow White is her real mother, and she is killed by Snow White at last. I don' t think Snow White is graceful amd gentle women now.

BR1-09 : Dracula
"My revenge has just begun- and time is on my side!" (P50)
I love stories of vampire. I have read or seen various movies and comicbooks about vampire. For example, "Draculia", "Van Helsing", and "Interview eith Vampire". I supecially like " Duracula" which Gary Oldman prayed the leading part. Dracura that Oldman performs is very cool and sexy. But, I don't think Dracura that written in the original story is very cool. So, I was little disappointed when I read the original at first. Though the original was interesting too. "My revenge has just begun- and time is on my side!" (P50)

Unit 5: PLAGIARISM
We talked about succsess. Our member were Yuki, Ayamasa, Mai, Sakurako, and Shino.
Sakurako and Yuki had same idea. They said that success was that people felt happy. If somemone got a lot of money or good job, he or she would not be succesful unles he felt happy. They emphasized that people needed family, friends, or lovers more than money to feel mental happy and sucsessful. I think they should show some examples of success whithout money.
Ayamasa told about his own success. He said the success he thought was to do what he wanted to. He wants to enjoy his campus life now, and to work at an airline in the future. He said these were his success. I think he should speak more loudly.
Shino said we should got success with observing the rules. We should ovserve each rules even if that is inconvenience for us. I think she should speal more smoothly.
Mai had similar idea to Shino's. Also, she said we should obtain our goal with effort by ourselves. She said the competition is hard for us but it also brings good effections to us.

BR1-o8 : The Phantom of the Opera.

I have seen a musical of "The Phantom of the Opera" , and the movie prodeuced by Joel Schumacher. I thought this is very beautiful and sad story. Also, I thought this story looks like " The Bells of Notre Dame." Both Qusimodo and Phantom are deformed children. They are disliked by everybody because of their looks, and they don't know mother's love. Phantom has never been kissed by others, even his own mother. I wanted him to be happy with Christine.

BR1-07 : Alice Through The Looking-Glass

This story is a continuation of " Alice's Adventure in Wonderland".Sentences are more complex and difficult than " Alice's Adventure in Wonderland", but I think this one is more interesting. In the Looking- Grass, the ground is look like a chessboard, and Alice advances toward last mass to become the queen. I got a chess set after reading this book. Also, many unique characters are written in this story. I like "the White Queen" the best. In " Alice in Wonderland", the movie directed by Tim Burton, the White Queen is a very beautiful and intelligent women. In other hund, the White Queen is a nervy women. But I like both.

BR1-06 : The Swan Princess
"Oh Jasper,# cried Eliza, "you've still got a swan's wing!" (p.62)
This story was may favorite when I was a child.The point that I like about this book is Eliza, the heroin of this story is devoted to her family. She makes shirts of nettles to save her 12 brothers, who changed swan. By making shirts, her fingers are covered in blisters, but she doesn't mind. Also, She won't stop making shirts although she is suspected of being which and almost executed for her brothers. And her brothers love Eliza very much. This story makes reader's hart happy.

FRIENDS OR LOVER? : group3
We talked about that women and men can be the best friend. Our members were Kazuyo, Hitomi, Chie, Natumi, and Atsuko.
Kazuyo, Mai, and Hitomi said that men had a lot of different parts and ideas from women, so women and men could sport each other. Also, they said that we didn't need the love to do that. I think they should give a concrete example which men has a lot of different parts and ideas from women.
Chie said that it is different that be fascinated by someone to human. Human doesn't love whoever the opposite sex.
Natumi told us the story which she experienced in fact. When she was a high school student, her male friend was declared his love for her. She though the boy as the friend, so she declined. But after that, they could be good friends. She said that women and men could be the best friend but it was very difficult.
