Topip: Parking

Introduction of panelists
・Momoko : She is a shop assistant.
・Keiko : She is 18 years old. She often go to city by her bike.
・Lisa :  She is a high school student. She goes to her school by her bicycle.
・Miki : I couldn't listen.
・Yoshiko: I couldn't listen.

Important points raised in the discussion
・Keiko, Yoshiko, and Miki demanded that the parking should be changed a free parking area. But Momoko siad that people who works at the parking would lose their salary .

My Opinion
I don't think city has to build a free parking area. It needs alot of money to manage a parking. I think it is impossible to build a free parking.

The outcome of the discussion
I couldn't understand. They didn't draw a conclusion clearly.

How effective I though the discussion and how it could have been  better.
They should speak more loudly voice. Also, I couldn't understand what they wanted to discuss clearly.They should show their subject clearly.

Unit13 : Career/ Choice

Our group: Yuki, Yuho,Kotomi.

Yuki and Yuho talked about their goals and future.Yuki said that  she wanted to become flight attendant.So, she studies English hard now. Also, she said that she wanted to get good husband and become a nice wife too.
I think Yuki should speak more loud.

Yuho said that she wanted to become a interpproter. She said it was difficult to get enought money after become a interpproter soon. So, she said she had to work various company and add to her experience. I think she should talk about interpproter's work more details.

Kotomi talked about her strenghs and weaknesses. She said her strenghts were positive and friendly. She always thinks good things, and talks with other new people. Those strengths are good for her dream, which become a teacher. Her weakness is lazy. She sometimes thinks she doesn't want to study. She studies with her friends and she can do her best.

And my idea:
The most important condition of job is good benefits. I want to continue my job id I get married and have childen. So, the company has a good child-care leave system is very important.

BR12 : Stories of Witches

                                                             "Mix them and make a stew!"  (P13)

I learned about witch-hunt in the Middle Age at class. The contents were bloody and cruel. Teacher said that about 140,000 inocent people were killed. In other hand, this story is very fan and innocent. Witches appears in this book play tricks and trouble people. They steals milk from a farmer, changes a women into a horse. I think they are very cute and interesting charactors.

Numbers

7 is the number of people in my family. And 2 is the number of dogs I have now. 7300 is the number of days I live since I was borne. 5is the number of times I have been to Tokyo Disney resort and Universal studio. 19 is the number of times I traveled with my family.

BR1-11 : Sleeping Beauty

"Only  a kiss from your true love will break the sleep."(p24)

I had thought that this story was written by Brothers Grimm. The first time I knew this story is when I saw a movie produced by Dsney. There are three fairies in the film. After that, I read another book, and there were twelve good fairies and an evil fairy in the story.The King invited twelve fairies because there were twelve gold dishes. Also, the animal which told the queen that she was going to have a baby was a crayfish. I think differences like those are interesting.

BR1-10 : Snow White and the Seven Dwarf

                                                        "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of us all?" (p.7) 

I had seen "Snow White and the Seven Dwarf", a movie made by Disney many times when I was a child. The movie was one of the my favorite movies. But, I thought Snow White was fool because she was almost killed three times by her stepmother in parallel ways. She has just the devil's own luck. Also, I was very surprised when I read the original story written by brother of Grimm. The Queen who tried to kill Snow White is her real mother, and she is killed by Snow White at last. I don' t think Snow White is graceful amd gentle women now.

A man and a women are sitting on a sofa. The women cuddle up to the man, and the man is putting his right arm around her soulder. The man is sitting the sofa with his legs crpssed. The women has shoulder-length blond hair. She wears a white T-shirt a gray jacket over the T-shirt. I don't know she weras a skirt or a pants. The man has short brown hair. His hair isswept-back. He wears a shirt in vertical stripes and a brack jacket over his shirt. Also, he wears a jeans. The man is smailing but the woman is not. But she looks feel relax.
